SF Conventions

I've never been to a SFF convention but they sound
like fun. Long time forums moderator and author
Charles Gramlich - "Kainja"
in the forums - just got back from Crescent City
Con in New Orleans and posted a report in the forums.

Currently Watching on DVD: Star Trek TOS, The
Prisoner and more

I just thought I would mention what I'm currently
watching on DVD - the biggies for SF are:
Star Trek TOS - I watch an episode every week of the original series. I love that old show. Although I'm about to move into the 3rd season which is where all the weak episodes are located.
The Prisoner - man this show still rocks even after 35+ years. I'll be writing something up big when I get done watching. Here is a Unified Scifi Forums thread on The Prisoner.
I should also mention The Avengers. I consider it more spy fantasy than science fiction but it definitely has some episodes that could be called science fiction.

Currently Reading: The Eldwarves

Just started reading 'The Eldwarves' a fantasy
enovel by Rob Clague published by
BooksforaBuck.com. I'm not very far into it so
it is to soon to tell if I'll like it, but
nothing has made me groan or put it down yet so
that is a good sign. Eldwarves looks to be a
fairly lengthy ebook clocking in at over 1894
electronic pages (shorter than print pages) on
my Palm T5 so it might be awhile before I post a
review.
